APPLE SLICE RECIPE
DOUGH:
1 CUP BUTTER FLAVOR CRISCO
1 CUP CRISCO
4 1/2 CUP FLOUR
1/2 TSP BAKING POWDER
2 TABLESPOON SUGAR
3/4 CUP MILK
MIX LIKE A PIE CRUST. ROLL 1/2 THE DOUGH OUT TO FIT BOTTOM OF 10 1/2 X 15 1/2 PAN. ROLL BALANCE FOR TOP.
FILLING:
4 CANS OF APPLES (10-12 CUPS)
1/2 CUP FLOUR
4 TSP CINNAMON
1 CUP BROWN SUGAR
POUR MIXTURE OVER CRUST. PLACE CRUST ON TOP.
BAKE 1 HOUR AT 325
MIX 1 LB OF POWDERED SUGAR WITH ABOUT 1/2 CUP WATER FOR FROSTING
FROST WHILE STILL WARM
